Blackpool Aquatics ASC Team Protocol

Notify your Team Manager in good time if you are unable to swim at a gala.

Arrive promptly at a gala.

Encourage and support team mates.

Display a positive attitude and show commitment and responsibility – you are an ambassador for the club.

Always give your best in every race and swim, without question, the race or races you have been selected for. NB some swimmers will have more swims than others.

Always be respectful to the Team Manager, Officials and Chaperones.

Never question a decision by the referee.

Do not wander off poolside or you may miss your race. Always inform the chaperone if you need to leave poolside for any reason.

Wear a club hat (if usually worn) and club T shirt on poolside. Only BLACK costumes/jammers/trunks or the current club costume/jammers to be worn.
No other colour to be worn.

Remain on poolside to the last event to support your team members and be available for the cheers at the end of the gala.

As the galas do not last very long, no electronic games etc. on poolside or sweets.

Adhere to the ASA Code of Conduct at all times.

Adhere to the Blackpool Aquatics Guidelines and policies.

KIT & EQUIPMENT:

Basic equipment needed for swimmers 9 – 12 years – mesh bag, kick board, pull buoy, fins (appropriate for age), drinks bottle(s).
Kukri T shirts are now in stock - Sizes available: Small, medium & large.
The club shop stocks black costumes and jammers which can be worn for club team events.
Other items of kit can be purchased or ordered from the club shop. Prices are on the website and will be on the notice boards.
